[Alumnus Noh Hyun-bin] Shinhan Investment Corp. Recruits AI Expert Noh Hyun-bin to Strengthen Innovative Services
(Seoul = Yonhap News) Reporter Jo Min-jeong = Shinhan Investment Corp. announced on the 21st that it has recruited Dr. Noh Hyun-bin, former Chief Researcher at Riiid, as the head of its AI Solutions Department to lead the generative artificial intelligence (AI) ecosystem in the financial sector and provide innovative services.

Shinhan Investment Corp. established the AI Solutions Department in June to oversee the application and commercialization of AI across the company.

Dr. Noh majored in algebraic geometry at Pohang University of Science and Technology, earning his doctorate before developing AI research and distributed processing algorithms at Samsung SDS Research Institute. He later led AI research and B2B (business-to-business) operations at the education AI startup Riiid.

Shinhan Investment Corp. expressed that Dr. Noh has extensive experience in commercializing AI not only through research but also in business and product development, as well as global B2B initiatives. His contributions to popularizing AI through public lectures and academic presentations were also highlighted, and the company expects him to drive the advancement of its financial platform and global expansion based on this experience.
