The Department of Mathematics at POSTECH is seeking applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow in Mathematical Biology. This position, mentored by Prof. Jinsu Kim, focuses on stochastic chemical reaction networks and stochastic processes for biochemical systems, but not limited to. More general mathematical biology can be the potential collaboration topic.
Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in mathematics or related fields, with expertise in stochastic processes and mathematical biology. The position offers a two-year contract with a competitive salary and benefit. The contract can be renewed upon financial availability. This position is supported by Prof Kim’s research fund, NRF Basic Science Research Institute Fund (No. 2022R1C1C1008491).
