[Department News] APCTP, IBS CGP, and POSTECH Mathematics Host Joint Seminar 2026​

The Asia Pacific Center for Theoretical Physics (APCTP), the Center for Geometry and Physics at the Institute for Basic Science (IBS CGP), and the POSTECH Department of Mathematics jointly hosted "Joint Seminar 2026" on Tuesday, May 19, at Seminar Room #512 in the Hogil Kim Memorial Building at APCTP.

The seminar featured presentations on cutting-edge topics in mathematical physics, including the intersection of non-Hermitian physics and mathematics, topological recursion, and Yangian symmetry. Professor Cheol-hyun Cho of the POSTECH Department of Mathematics delivered a lecture titled "On the polynomial xᵃ + yᵇ."
