On November 8, 2024, Sunwoo Choi, a senior in the Department of Mathematics at POSTECH, received the first POSTECH Undergraduate Mathematics Research Paper Award at the ceremony held for this occasion.

The event was attended by Jae-Hun Jung, Head Professor of the POSTECH Mathematics Department; Sung-Bin Lim, President of the POSTECH Mathematics Alumni Association; and Jeong-In Lee, Professor at Ajou University’s Department of Mathematics.

Many professors and students also joined to celebrate Sunwoo Choi's achievement.

Following the award presentation, Sunwoo Choi delivered a lecture on the topic of his paper, titled "Statistical Estimation of Prime Divisor CDF for Finite N in the Erdős-Kac Theorem."

After the ceremony, there was an informal gathering where participants exchanged mathematical knowledge and insights.
