The 2024 Spring Research Presentation Conference of the Korean Mathematical Society was held from April 18th (Thursday) to the 20th (Saturday) at the Daejeon Convention Center and KAIST.

In the conference, which included keynote speeches, plenary lectures, invited talks, and the presentation of the Korean Mathematical Society Award, Professor Hyung Ju Hwang delivered a keynote speech titled "Neural PDE solvers toward digital twin: Theory and applications."

Professor Hwang has achieved remarkable research outcomes in the field of mathematical machine learning, with the Mathematical Machine Learning Research Center (CM2LA) being selected as a Leading Research Center (SRC) in 2023. He has also been recognized for his contributions to predicting the spread of COVID-19 and received a commendation for his meritorious service.
