Title: Combinatorics of symmetric functions

Abstract: In this talk, we study combinatorial aspects of symmetric functions.
We first introduce basic definitions on symmetric functions and review well-known combinatorial properties of Schur functions.
We then see how these properties are generalized to Grothendieck polynomials.
