Visiting Professorship Position at Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH)

 

The Department of Mathematics at Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH) invites a visiting professor starting from the fall semester in 2020. A visiting professor is expected to teach at least one undergraduate course per an academic semester and to be actively involved in advancing the mission of the Department.

1. Title: Visiting Professor in Mathematics

2. Visit Period: September 1, 2020~August 31, 2021

3. Salary: Negotiable

4. Restriction for Applicants

a. Ph.D degree in Mathematics or a related discipline required

b. Full-time faculty currently employed at overseas universities

5. Documents

a. A signed cover letter stating a clear intention for application

b. A curriculum vitae

c. A description of teaching

d. A copy of Ph.D diploma

e. Current employment certification

f. Two letters of recommendation (may include a letter from counterpart in POSTECH)

6. Deadline for the application: January 31, 2020
