포스텍 수학과의 최영주 교수가 2014년도 학술.연구지원사업 우수성과에 선정되어 2015년 11월 6일 교육부 장관상을 수상했다.

최영주 교수의 이번 연구는 난제 해결을 위해 최초로 시도된 접근법이며, 정수론에서 매우 중요한 역할을 하는 L-함수를 이해하는데 산술적 의미가 매우 크다는 공로를 인정 받아 장관 표창을 받게 되었다.

Prof. Young Ju Choie Receives the Commendation from the Ministry of Education

Prof. Young Ju Choie has received the commendation from the Ministry of Education as her research was chosen as an excellent result of the 2014 academic and research support project. Prof. Choie was selected as a winner in recognition of her research to better understand L-arithmetic that plays an important role in the number theory.
