| 소개 및 안내사항Content | Title: Busemann's intersection inequality in non-Euclidean spaces Abstract: One of the classical results by H. Busemann asserts that among all convex bodies K in the Euclidean n-space of a fixed volume the nth moment of the cross-sectional areas of K is maximized only when K is a centered ellipsoid. In this talk we will go over how the Euclidean case can be interpreted in terms of random simplices and we will introduce related open problems in Convex Geometry. Then we will provide a similar type of the maximizing or minimizing problems in hyperbolic and spherical spaces. This is based on joint work with S. Dann and V. Yaskin. |
