KWEON'S RESEARCH FIELDS
1. Research field
I think, mathematics is a scheme or a tool or a logical(reversible) mod-elling for formulating the unknowns or the curiosities or the ideas in our scientific or industrial life activities. Specifically I am concerned with the existence, regularity, free interface resolution, numerical solutions of the compressible (or incompressible) flows at the corner, edge and cut bound-aries governed by the compressible viscous Navier-Stokes equations:
The T-shaped cavity given in Figure 1 is a well-known region for basic configurations of cavity flows. The flows over the simple geometry of the cavity may produce diverse flow phenomena such as corner boundary layers, flow separations, vortical disturbances, pressure jump wave, acoustic noise instabilities, etc.
