    This winter school is devoted to understanding the recent proof and developement of Serre's Modularity conjecture. The basic materials will be covered on Jan 14 (friday) and Jan 15 (saturday). The lecture series of Main speakers will be given in the second week (Jan 17-21).

    The preliminary lectures will be given by Chung Pang Mok (Chinese Univ. of Hong Kong) on Jan 14 (friday), 4pm - 7pm and Jan 15 (saturday), 10am - 1pm. The lecture room is the Math building 402. The first two lectures will be the statement of the strong form of the Serre modularity conjecture. Then the remaining two lectures will be a brief sketch of the argument in the level one case
